How are the prices calculated?
Proofreading & Editing: The price for proofreading and editing is calculated by time as the work is being done on an pre-existing text and the amount of characters differs from document to document.>

Translation: The amount of characters per page determines the cost. One standard line is made up of 55 characters, spaces included, and one standard page has 30 lines. One standard page therefore has around 1,650 characters. The price also adapts to the topic of the text; specialist texts being more expensive due to requiring more research.

Transcription: The price is calculated by the amount of the file's audio minutes. Price changes might come up when the files contain background noise, distracting audio or the speaker is difficult to understand. Due to this, an offer will only be provided after the submission of the audio.

What's the benefit of proofreading?
Proofreading is the final touch to any written text. Through reviewing and analysing the text, the proofreader corrects errors and/or inconsistencies that had been missed in earlier stages. Additionally, proofreading aims to improve the flow, coherence and readability of the writing. Proofreading is the final stage of the editing process.
